Upload your trip

Add your order, photo zip, and either a one-place stay or a multi-place route. You can skip the itinerary tables for a one-place trip, and you can still add a custom narrative on this form. Want a filled example first? Download sample one-place and multi-place forms.

Trip details Trip title (required) Dashboard headline — the name of the trip. Subtitle Optional banner line under the title — travelers, family, or group name.

What kind of trip is this? (required)

One place All photos are in one town or area. No flights or drives to enter. We map geotagged photos as Phase 0. Multi-place trip You traveled between cities. Enter trip phases and route legs.

On either path you can add a custom narrative and set story voice, tone, and length. We use that on your phase cards.

Main destination (required) Use the primary destination or region for the dashboard title, even if the trip starts and ends at home.

Start date (required) End date (required)

Where did the trip start? (required) Where did the trip end? (required) Use the same place for loop trips.

Trip phases (required)

Define each major block of your trip. Pick a label — single location (Phase 0, all photos in one area), transit, basecamp, day trip, or residency — then name, dates, and location where it applies.

Route legs (required)

One row per movement. Choose the phase for each leg, then From --> To and mode (train, flight, basecamp, etc.). Use , then for chained stops on one line (e.g. Alexandria, then DCA).

These settings shape the generated phase-card stories. You can also write your own story in Custom trip narrative below — that text is used even on one-place / Phase 0 trips.

Photos Photo zip file (required) One .zip with your trip photos. How to create your photo zip (step-by-step guide) Allow us to use photo location metadata to place photos and stops on your map. Allow us to use photo timestamps to keep your route and days in order.

Customize dashboard URL name (optional)

URL name

Lowercase letters, numbers, hyphens only. This names your dashboard URL, not your uploaded zip file.

Optional photo fixes

Tell us where specific files belong Use this only for screenshots or photos with location turned off.

Custom trip narrative (optional) Available on both one-place and multi-place uploads. We keep your wording and use it when writing phase cards. Story voice, tone, and length above still apply to any generated text.

Password protection Protect my dashboard with a passcode (included — share your link and passcode separately)
